Stunning neutral Suzani bedspread in white hand stitched embroidery on an Ecru linen base. Suitable to cover a chair, sofa or single to Superking bedsAdding rich texture and depth, this handmade piece is perfectly proportioned for a king-size bed. Measuring 220cm by 150cm, it looks perfect draped over a sofa or chair and works equally well as a bedcover for single through to super-king beds. The medium-weight linen has a soft drape and sits smoothly over a duvet.
Traditionally, suzanis were created as wedding quilts, believed to bring luck, prosperity and fertility, and were an important part of a bride’s dowry. The central star motif on this suzani reflects this Uzbekistani heritage and is a particularly distinctive detail.

The suzani is made from Ecru linen with white cotton embroidery.
I would advise spot cleaning and dry cleaning if required to keep this in the best condition, however they can be washed on a cool cycle at home.

For a single or double bed it will cover the whole bed.
For a king and superking the quilt can be used width ways as a throw with 35cm overhand on either side for a King and 20cm on each side for a superking.
